Here’s what’s happening at BioNova® Natural Pools North America…
NSP Project in Austin, Texas Update
Its time to look in on our project in Austin, Texas, where progress continues on the NSP conversion.
The client wished to have a more natural setting and is converting their existing chemical pool to an NSP. The current pool is 40 feet by 12.5 feet. To convert the pool, a new vessel will be build 20 feet from the pool and contain a custom, circular BF4 vault with a diameter of 9 feet.
The pool will be filtered with a custom 16 tube BF4 system which will consist of two concentric circular BF4 manifolds. The outer manifold, with a diameter of 7 feet, will have 11 tubes, and the inner manifold, with a diameter of 3 feet, with have 5 tubes.
The custom BF4 manifolds were delivered onsite and were assembled. They were placed into the BF4 circular tank and the 16 tubes were installed and everything was plumbed in. The BF4 is well above the grade of the pool so water will be pumped in with one pump and returned to the pool via a second pump. A gravity overall was installed so water can return back to the system and not overflow the vault. Gravel was then added to the tops of the tubes and the system is ready for start up.
The team onsite did a great job with the install and we are very excited to see updates once the pool is up and running.
