Here’s what’s happening at BioNova® Natural Pools North America…
BioNova® at the LCA Sustainability Symposium
This past week BioNova® was asked to speak at the Landscape Contractors Association of MD•DC•VA (LCA). The wanted more information on NSPs so Ryan Harmer went to Maryland to give a presentation on the fundamentals of NSPs.
The LCA helps to advance the success of landscape professionals and businesses by providing education on industry best practices, sharing updates, and helping to connect the local green community. They’re focus is primarily on green and sustainable solutions within the landscape community which is why they were interested in learning more about NSPs.
BioNova’s presentation followed the keynote address for the afternoon, which was given by Larry Weaner. Larry is the foremost expert in meadow design and installation and his presentation complimented BioNova’s perfectly as it shared many of the same applications and principal goals in developing a healthy meadow, free from undesirable weeds as our installations strive to do the same thing in an aquatic environment with the goal of limiting algae and undesirable bacteria.
BioNova’s presentation focused on giving the landscape contractors in attendance the basic knowledge of how NSPs work, and more importantly how they can use their green, sustainable nature to add to their portfolio of offerings to clients who are looking to add a pool or pond that looks beautiful, but also is environmentally responsible and sustainable.
The symposium was very well attended and the overwhelming sentiment was that clients are asking for chemical free pools and builders want a solution to provide clients with what they want. This confirms the market research that the interest in NSPs continues to grow and that people want an alternative to the the traditional chlorine and salt pools.
