Allen has enjoyed a lifetime in and around water. Teaching swimming & lifesaving in the Boy Scouts (ultimately achieving the Eagle Scout rank), studying Marine Biology & Limnology at Clemson University, and then working over 40 years in swimming pool construction, service, retail, and maintenance of all types of swimming vessels, residential and commercial. The last 30 years Allen was employed with BioLab where he assisted small businesses with the technical training of their personnel and managed sales persons across the country to assist in their professional and personal growth. Allen is an avid outdoorsman, hiking, camping, fishing and exploring whenever he has the chance. “I’ve been a practical steward of the environment all of my life, if for no other reason than to selfishly protect the environment I love so much.”

Allen was introduced to James and Hae-Sun Robyn over 15 years ago at one of the many training programs BioLab sponsored. He and his wife Linda, also avid tennis players, met up with James and Hae-Sun on the tennis court and a friendship was quickly formed. When James introduced BioNova™ Natural Pools to the US in 2008, Allen was enamored with the potential opportunity that NSPs provided to blend his love of nature with swimming pools. Timing and opportunity have now brought Allen and BioNova™ Natural Pools together.

Allen and Linda live in Georgetown on the South Carolina coast, where environmental conservation and protection of wetlands and waterways provides one of the most pristine tidal areas in the world.
