Here’s what’s happening at BioNova® Natural Pools North America…
NSP Update in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania
A couple of months ago we announce a new project in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania. We are excited to continue progress on it and share the planning updates with you.
This project is still in the early design phases, but currently the client wishes to take a existing retention pond on their property and transform it into a beautiful 1-acre natural swimming pond.
The client sought us out because they knew that this project will enhance both the aesthetics and environmental sustainability of the area, providing a refreshing, chemical-free swimming experience. Also, with a property of 93 acres, they know that the natural filtration system will support local wildlife while offering a serene spot for recreation.
After several meetings with the client we have proposed a design for them that we feel will satisfy there desires for this NSP. The current design will be a large oval shaped pool with a planted regeneration zone surrounding the circumference. The oval will be 174 feet x 294 feet with a swimming area of approximately 125 feet x 245 feet. Access to the swimming area will be through a large beach entry. I will also offer a large raft to give swimmers and place to swim out to and relax in the middle of the pond.
We are very excited about this project and as always, we look forward to updating you on this project as it progresses.
